#001 - I was never meant to carry someone else's life in my hands.
“I was never meant to carry someone else’s life in my hands”
I deserve freedom without guilt.
I can love without fear,
I can live without waiting for the worst.
If I believe that I’m filth It will start to appear
But not if I change my thoughts first.
When raised in a place where generations decay,
it’s okay to find yourself decaying.
In my case I thought it’s inevitable, From what all my family was saying.
They do what they do and they tell me I shouldn’t,
Get angry the day that i do.
Telling me I was supposed to be different & things like I’m only as good as my crew.
In hindsight I look and I’m trying to learn, Start helping the young with my truth
Forgiving myself was the hardest but now I know
I was only,
as good,
as you.
